Mechanics is as follows:
1. The competition is open to all aspiring fashion stylists, both amateur and professional, ages 16yo to 30yo residing in the South or with models from the South.
2. Interested participants may get a registration form at the ATC Concierge and submit on or before January 15, 2012 along with the following requirements:
a) Mood board based on theme with color story, textile, accessories, models selection, and the like.
b) For participants with experience, you may also submit the following supporting documents:
• Tear sheets from magazines and broadsheets
• Runway photographs
• Edited video materials – behind the scenes AVP’s runway shows, etc.
3. All participants shall be required to attend the screening / interview on January 17, 2012 at the ATC Admin Office. Finalists will be informed via email and mobile text on the same day.
4. Ten (10) finalists will be chosen to compete in the grand finals to be held on January 28 & 29, 2012 at the Alabang Town Center Activity Center.
5. All finalists are required to come up with two (2) cohesive collections that are in line with the overall theme: Resort / Summer forecast 2012.
January 28 Multi – brand fashion show
This event shall feature the brands at Alabang Town Center New Wing (ie. Vise Versa, Miss Sixty, Ellesse, Guess, Guess Kids, Lilliput, Just G, etc.). Each contestant shall be assigned to one brand and shall work hand – in – hand with a professional stylist and the brand’s visual merchandisers to come up with a brand collection.
January 29 Portfolio shoot
Competition starts early as stylists and their models build their portfolio with any area of Alabang Town Center as their backdrop. The pictures will be shown during the fashion show later that day. Shots will be taken by professional photographers from Meg Magazine.
Fashion Styling Competition
Each contestant gets to put together a collection composed of 10 looks with a freehand to mix and match any apparel / accessories from participating Alabang Town Center stores.
6. Finalists are to strictly follow the production schedule set by the organizing committee. Event schedules are as follows:
a) January 15 (Sun) Deadline of submission of entries
b) January 17 (Tues) Screening / Interview at Alabang Town Center

c) January 20 (Fri) Launch the crowd favorite poll (based on submitted tear sheets)
d) January 21 (Sat) Clothes selection

e) January 23 (Mon) Participants to submit hair and make – up pegs

f) January 27 (Fri) Pull – out clothes by ATC representative

7. Finalist/s shall use his/her own set of models. These models will have to be approved by the organizing committee.
All applicants should also submit one (1) headshot and one (1) full body shot of their models with pertinent information such as name, age, contact details, email address, basic measurements such as height, vital statistics (chest-waist-hips), and shoe size.
8. Finalists shall be judged based on the following criteria:
Originality and excellence in interpreting the theme 30%
Concept execution 20%
Sourcing of Collection 30%
Audience Impact (show dates / online poll in iamMEG.ph) 20%
TOTAL 100%
9. Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
