Contest Mechanics:
STEP 1
Upload a Youtube video of yourself [maximum of 3 minutes] singing, dancing, or acting (anything goes!) as inspired by Taylor Swift.
a. The more entertaining it is, the better!
STEP 2
Email the link to Promos@Odysseylive.net with your name, address, email address, and contact numbers.
a. Write: SWIFTERS GOT TALENT as the email subject
b. Those with incomplete details and who didn’t follow the mechanics will automatically be disqualified.
c. Submission of entry is up to December 1, 12noon only.
STEP 3
On December 1, 2011 Odyssey Representatives will judge the entries based on the following criteria:
a. Taylor Swift inspired talent 40%
b. Creativity 35%
c. Overall impact 25%
STEP 4
On December 1 at exactly 5PM, names of the top 5 participants will be posted on Odysseylive.net Facebook page’s wall. Top 5 participants will showcase their talents and perform LIVE on Dec. 3 in Gateway during the Speak Now World Tour Grand Launch!
a. Participants are required to bring their own instruments / minus 1 / props needed for the final performance.
b. All participants must be able to present their Odyssey receipt purchase of Speak Now World Tour (dvd or bluray) before performing.
STEP 5
The top 5 participants will be judged by representatives from Odyssey, Sun, and Covergirl based on the following critirea:
a. Taylor Swift inspired talent 40%
b. Overall impact 30%
c. Text votes 30%
STEP 6
1 Grand Champion will be announced and he / she will win the Taylor Swift fan package including official Taylor Swift merchandise, SUN & Covergirl premium products!
