OpenRice Restaurant Review Promo
WHO CAN JOIN:
• OpenRice members (OpenRicers)
• OpenRice Facebook fans
HOW TO JOIN:
1. Be an OpenRicer! Register at www.OpenRice.com.
• Recruit 4 members to create a group of five (5).
2. New members can also recruit and create their new group.
3. The “recruiter” should submit the names and email addresses of his/her four (4) “recruits”
at promos@openrice.com.ph (Subject: RECRUITER: Invite, write and win!)
4. All recruits should register at www.OpenRice.com and verify their accounts through the
email notification sent after registration.
5. Each member of the group must have a minimum of five (5) restaurant reviews to qualify.
6. Search the restaurant you want to review. If the restaurant is not listed, click on the link to
add the restaurant information.
REVIEW MECHANICS:
1. Reviews on the following types of restaurants or food establishments are not qualified for
the promo:
a. Fast Food Chains
b. Other Food Chains
c. Food Stalls and Food Carts
d. Street Food
e. Food Court
f. Canteen
g. Karinderia
2. All reviews must have at least 2 photo attachments that support the review
- No duplicating of photos. Photos used in 1 review must not be used in another
restaurant’s branch review.
- Photos copied from other websites or blogs are not acceptable.
- All photos must be clear and related to the review. The shots of the food or
restaurant must be attractive.
- Entries with no photos are not qualified for the promo
3. No plagiarism. Reviews must be original.
4. Reviews must be unbiased.
5. All entries will be reviewed and approved by OpenRice editor.
WINNERS:
1. One (1) OpenRicer, old or new member, will have the chance to win the Best OpenRicer
Award:
• Best OpenRicer: member with most number of reviews, not less than 50 reviews,
within the promo period.
2. One (1) recruiter will have the chance to win the Best Recruiter Award:
• Best Recruiter: recruiter with the most number of verified new members with at least
five (5) reviews each
3. Two (2) new OpenRicer will have the chance to win the New OpenRicers Awards:
• Best New OpenRicer: New recruit member with the most number of reviews, not
less than 20 reviews, within the promo period.
• Editor’s New OpenRicer: New recruit member with the most number of Editor’s
Choice reviews, not less than fifteen (15) Editor’s choice, within the promo period.
