This promo is open to all GMA fans worldwide so all we ask is that your videos be 100% original and at most 30 seconds long.

Promo Mechanics

Promo Title: Kapusong Pasko
Promo Duration: October 24, 2011 to December 16, 2011
Mechanics:
  1. For an online visitor to qualify, he/she must:
    1. Visit the GMA Network website (gmanetwork.com/kapusongpasko).
    2. Be a registered member of the Kapusong Pasko Promo
    3. The promo is open to all online users.
    4. Online visitors must submit complete registration details and submit a video with their own version of the Kapusong Pasko Jingle to qualify.
    5. Users may download the mp3 version of the song for free from the promo page.
    6. Complete registration details include Full Name, Address, Email Address and Mobile Number.

  1. Participants must upload and submit a video in 30 seconds or fewer singing their own version to the tune of the Kapusong Pasko Jingle in digital format MP4, MPEG, WMV, 3GP, MOV or AVI not exceeding 4MB featuring the participant.
  2. Videos must be original, new and have not yet been published or used in any other contest and must be submitted through the promo microsite.
  1. By submitting the video, participants shall be responsible for getting the consent of the people included in the video and agree that GMA Network and its subsidiaries shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential damages or losses arising out of the submission of the video by its participants.

  1. Submission of videos and registration shall be free of charge.

  1. Complete and successfully uploaded entries shall receive the following confirmation message:
    1. Thank you for submitting your video! Winners of the Kapusong Pasko promo shall be displayed on facebook.com/GMANetwork and on gmanetwork.com/kapusongpasko.
    2. Last submission of entries shall be on December 16, 2011 11:59pm, Philippine Time.
    3. A participant may win only once during the whole promo.
    4. he entries will be judged according to the criteria below:
Video Submissions:
Criteria Description
Creativity of Video: 40% Videos must be fun, exciting and unique. It should be engaging, relevant and appropriate to the Kapusong Pasko Theme.
Composition:  40% Videos should not exceed 30 seconds in length. Videos must deliver a clear and positive message. Videos should not contain profane language, violence, sex, or personal attacks on people or organizations. Video submissions must be clear and show the participant. The video must be original.
Clarity of Video and Audio:  20% Videos must be clear and concise. Videos must be free of copyrighted materials. Lyrics used must be originally composed and language used should be easy to understand, should need minimal editing and be free from explicit content.

    1. In case of a tie, judges shall deliberate based on the criteria
    2. In case of a double entry (same entries produced by different registrants) the entry submitted first, based on the Log-in time reflected on GMA Network’s database, shall be considered.

    1. There will be Three (3) overall members of the “Board of Judges” composed of GMA Network Representatives.
Top video shall be determined on December 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at 12/F GMA Network Center with the presence of a DTI representative.
  1. The winner will be posted on the GMA facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/GMANetwork) as well as on gmanetwork.com/kapusongpasko.
  2. All information sent will be kept confidential and will be used solely for this promo.

Requirements to validate entries:
  1. The time reflected by GMA Network systems shall be controlling.
Qualified Entries must:
      1. Be registered to the Kapusong Pasko Promo
      2. Have submitted his/her entry within the duration of the promotion October 24, 2011 to December 16, 2011
      3. Be present at GMA Network system database within the promo duration.
  1. All participants are presumed to have read and understood, as well as agree and abide by the promos complete rules and regulations.
Provision on invalid entries:
  1. Those who have not submitted complete registration requirements and have not submitted a video shall not earn an entry.

Who are NOT qualified/eligible to join the promo:
  1. All Employees of GMA Network, their relatives up to the second degree of affinity or consanguinity are disqualified from joining the promo.
Determination of Winning Entries:
  1. Winners must join the Kapusong Pasko Promo
  2. All entries will be judged based on the aforementioned criteria within the following cut-off period.
  3. Fifteen (15) Overall winners shall receive a cash prize, One hundred fifty thousand pesos (Php 150,000) for the first place winner, Seventy five thousand pesos (Php 75,000) for the first runner up and Fifty thousand pesos (Php 50,000) for the second runner up. Twelve (12) Consolation Prize winners of Fifteen Thousand Pesos (Php 15,000).
  4. The Twelve (12) Consoloation Prize winners shall be determined according to the criteria aforementioned. In case of a tie, deliberation shall be done to determine the winners.

20% tax for prizes exceeding Ten Thousand (Php 10,000) pesos shall be shouldered by GMA Network.
  1. Winners will be posted on the GMA Network Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/GMANetwork) and on the promo microsite.
  2. In case of a tie the winners shall be determined by deliberation of the Board of Judges.

Redemption of Prizes:
  1. Winners shall be notified through registered mail, phone call and email.
  2. The winner must present the following when claiming their prize:
    1. Two (2) Valid IDs with picture and address
  3. Qualified winners must claim their prizes within sixty (60) days from receipt of notification. Failure to claim within the allotted time/duration forfeits the winner’s right over the prize with prior DTI approval
  4. Prizes must be claimed at the 12/F GMA Network Center, EDSA cor. Timog. Diliman Quezon City.� Tel:( 632) 8574664. For provincial and overseas winners, GMA Network shall contact the winner and make arrangements for claiming the prize.
  5. Failure to submit the any of the required proof and documentation is a ground for disqualification.


Control Measures:
  1. DTI representative shall be invited to check, test, validate and verify the computer system for receiving entries and registration. A copy of the said system shall be sealed in an envelope and signed by the DTI representative for safekeeping of GMA New Media Inc for verification of DTI at anytime.
  2. A printed copy of the properties of the program shall be given to the DTI Representative after verification. The DTI representative shall check the database of the promo.
  3. Another DTI representative will be invited to be present during the judging of the entries.
  4. GMA New Media Inc will generate a list of qualified participants before the draw.
  5. A copy in diskette form shall be sealed in an envelope and signed by a DTI representative for safekeeping of GMA New Media Inc and for verification of DTI at anytime until all prizes are claimed.
  6. All entries shall be reviewed and shall be given a score.
  7. The top entries with the highest scores shall be declared as the winning entry, just in case the winner is ruled by the Board of Judges as disqualified with approval from DTI. Process continues until a winner is found.
  8. After the winner is determined, it will be verified from the generated list by a GMA New Media Inc. representative and the DTI representative. A soft copy of the generated list of qualified participants and assigned raffle entry shall also be given to the DTI representative.
  9. The list of winners will be given to the DTI representative after determination.
  10. Sponsor will inform DTI of the final winner after verifying from the telecommunication companies and any disqualified winner(s) and reason(s) for disqualification.
  11. A printed copy of the properties of the program shall be submitted to the DTI representative after each witnessed draw.
  12. Database / list of participants shall include mobile number, name, address, date and time of transaction, type of transaction and a column shall be added to include the raffle numbers assigned randomly.
